  • Camarillo is a beautiful city in central Ventura County, located along U.S. Highway 101 (U.S. 101), midway between Los Angeles and Santa Barbara.
  • Camarillo has been recognized internationally has having the most desirable climate anywhere.
  • Located only nine miles from the Pacific, Camarillo is surrounded by beautiful rolling hills, and agriculture.

  • The Port of Hueneme is located just 11 miles from Camarillo, and is the only deep water harbor between Los Angeles and the San Francisco Bay area.  The Port is the U.S. Port of Entry for the Central Coast region, and serves international business from the Pacific Rim and Europe. 
  • Through the Port of Hueneme, businesses can obtain a Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) designation. An FTZ is a an area that is physically within the U.S., though is considered outside of U.S. Customs authority.
  • Through an FTZ, a company can import goods to be processed into new products, and defer or avoid customs duty.
  • Covering 6,000 acres along the coast, Naval Base Ventura County (NBVC) is the fifth-largest base in the United States. The base consists of Naval Air Station Point Mugu, Naval Construction Battalion Center Port Hueneme, and the Naval Outlying Field at San Nicolas Island.
  • NBVC supports over 100 commands, and is the largest employer in Ventura County, directly or indirectly providing for more than 19,000 jobs.
